18 November 2021. Dark, moody, cold: we've got that November-ish feeling in our bones. And we mean that in the best of ways, as with November comes a sense of anticipation about warm and cozy gatherings with friends and family.
Inspired by this photo of a good looking piece of pie with our brass dessert fork, we went on a quest for the perfect recipe. To us, this looks like a custard pie, and our search turned up a custard tart with cream and fresh fruit by Claire Saffitz. The ingredients are simple, the instructions pretty straight forward and we're going to give it a go!
