8 June 2022. Although we haven't lost our appetite for dinner, we may have lost our motivation to cook in a hot kitchen. This summer, our strategy is to look for foods that are fairly simple to throw together and don't require much in the way of turning on the stove.
We love these fresh and simple salads from one of our favorite cookbook authors, Anna Jones.
From chef and author Mina Stone, we'll be making this tomato salad with lemon, feta, and pistachios, which add a little zing, zap, and crunch to a summer go-to.
For an easy and flavorful summer dish, Yewande Komolafe's chicken and herb salad with nuoc cham looks delicious.
We'll also be trying the kale and quinoa salad from Deb Perelman @smittenkitchen, and although we may have to turn on the oven for a bit, it won't stop us from making her recipe for almond-crisped peaches.
We'd love to see what you're cooking and serving this summer. We hope you're finding our linens helpful in your kitchens and on your tables. And perhaps you're using our mango wood utensils, brass servers, and linen coated trays for your outdoor gatherings. Tag us on Instagram @shopfoglinen and show us how you're using Fog Linen Work.
